Driving Economic Growth
We opened our doors in 2006 as Northern State Bank, a state-chartered banking institution. Four years later we were recapitalized, renamed First Community Bank, and reimagined to serve the growing population of Lakewood, NJ, and the surrounding area. With our Board of Directors restructured to include members from Ocean, Monmouth, and Mercer Counties, we were poised to expand our network and our reach. The goal: to help businesses grow stronger and bring more opportunities to more people. As we opened branches, we supported local businesses along the way.
